Does the InvisibleSHIELD really work?? Part II

by Melissa Cruz on September 20, 2008

Click here to read my first post on the InvisbleSHIELD.

I have had the invisibleSHIELD on my iPhone for about 2 weeks. I purchased the full body protection but currently only have the back part on. The reason…INSTALLATION IS A BIOOOTCH!

Installation is not as easy as it looks in the video that the manufacture created. I have had other similar screen protectors on the front of my iPhone and never had nearly as much trouble as I did with installing the invisibleSHIELD
InvisibleSHILD provides a spray and squeegee to use to help with air bubbles. But, every time I would lie the screen onto the phone and squeegee the air bubbles out, it would still not look right. I ended up using up all the spray and still not having the front protection on correctly. After putting on and taking off the screen it was all full of fingerprints and lint. I had to leave it as is or else it would not go back on without the spray. It was manageable so I left it. Installing the back was much easier, although, I did have to try about 3 times to get it evened perfect with the holes.
After about a week I could not take the way the front screen protection looked because it was not clear (having the fingerprints and lint from the installation), so it came off.
Overall, the product does seem like it would have been a durable item but I guess I can’t really review it because it was not installed properly. The back of my iPhone has been protected so I guess I can say I’m happy about that.  Oh yes, and another thing, even though the screen has a lifetime warranty, the warranty is not valid if you improperly installed the InvisbleSHIELD. I had seemed to have over read that before I installed the thing. :(
I had pictures but I can’t find them at the moment. I will update this post once I do find the pictures.
