I took my kids last night to the movies to watch Bedtime Stories with Adam Sandler. It was a very cute movie with a lot of product placement taking place throughout the movie. Brands such
as Apple, BlackBerry and Ferrari to name a few. I think every movie out lately has had more product placement than normal. Or maybe it is just that I’m paying more attention now? I know I became very envious when i saw the large Apple monitor in the background of the kids room.
Bedtime Stories has content for both adults and children but is still a child friendly movie. I like that the movie focuses on education and the importance of reading. The movie’s theme shows that reading can be fun and enjoyable with imagination. The passion came off more realistic when coming from a teacher played by Keri Russell and a principal played by Courtney Cox.
My favorite character was Bugsy the hamster. He is the cutest little creature with a great personality. Plus, Bugsy’s eyes are to die for!!! The soundtrack was pretty good, although it is missing the old hit “Don’t Stop Believin” from Journey on the CD. I recommend this movie to everyone and give it a 8 out of 10.
