I’m no fool, get it straight!

I have been fooled may times before on April Fools Day but I am putting my guards up very high for the next 23 hours.  Two years ago a friend @mikemarquez trick me into thinking that I won a radio station contest.

 I use to always call up to try and win contests on the radio.  I have won $500 from a birthday game , concert tickets to Jingle Balls, Office Invasions, all from 102.7 KIIS FM.  I had entered a contest to have my bills paid and my friend Mike decided that he was going to fool me.  I was in school at the time and my friend Mike texted me and told me to call KIIS FM because they called my name to have my bills paid.  I didn’t think twice because I had won so many other times before I didn’t have any doubt.  I jumped out of class and went into the hall way and called the radio station.  It rang a few times before a woman answered it and I said, “Hello, this is Melissa Cruz and you called my name for the Pay My Bills contest.”  The woman on the other line stood quiet for a bit and said no we did not and she gave me the name of the person she called and it was a Michelle something.  I said are you sure my friend just called me and said he heard my name called.  As I was waiting for the woman to answer, it hit me that I was just punked!!!! I started to laugh and told the woman that I was just fooled, she began to laugh and we hung up.

I believe this was one the worse April Fools joke that was played on me.  At least the joke that sticks fresh in my mind.  I am determined not to be fooled this year!!!  To everyone out there that thinks they will get me, think again!!!! I am no fool, at least for today!
