Last night I attended my 2nd LA Art Walk and had a blast with my friends. Walking the streets of downtown LA at night is such a great people watching experience. You get to experience the urban side to LA and see all the different art, talents and people in the area.
The Art Walk is a free event and is held every 2nd Thursday of each month. The event takes place at the Historic Core’s Gallery Row area. Each gallery has their own operating hours but they start about 7pm and close at midnight or so. They have walking tours but I have yet to experience it. Some galleries have wine and snacks provided for their guest.
It is a must to dress comfortable and casual because there is so much walking involved. The next Art Walk will be on November 12.
