It’s my one of favorite times of year, American Idol time. American Idol is my favorite TV program and I’m so excited for this year. Although, I love Paula Abdul and she is no longer on the show, I’m sure that Ellen Degeneras will fill in just fine! My favorite contestants so far are:
Justin Williams, now he is just a given, hot vocals and hot looks. I could not keep my eyes off of him when I seen him. Justin tried out last year and went to Hollywood but did not make it to the top. I hope he does better this year. Justin battled cancer at the age of 20 but now at the age of 27 is cancer free.
Vanessa Wolfe, she is a 19 year old from Vonore, Tennessee. I fell in love with her personality, she was so real and so COUNTRY!!! Vanessa is a bridge jumper, which I never knew existed. Vanessa had a $4.50 pink dress on and was just very simple and appreciative for her chance of a life time. My favorite line from last night was when she made it to Hollywood and said, ” Imma gonna ride on an aer-o-plane and eat peanuts on the aer-o-plane.” I was so happy for her, I teared up.
Jermaine Sellers, is a 26 year old church singer who has been taking care of his sick mother since he was 17. Jermaine sang, “What if God was One of Us,” love that song”. I fall for people by their personality and he was so humble and calm with an awesome voice!
Not sure of the girl’s name but there was a 16 year old that sang great on Tuesday night. AI did a little story on her and her grandma battling Alzheimer. She had such a powerful voice for a teen.
Brian Walker, is a 25 year old police officer from Tennessee. Brian did a lot better than i thought he would. He does not have the looks of an American Idol but nothing a hair-cut and stylist could not fix. Brian was very much full of soul. Hopefully he don’t have any two-fours in the woodworks. Sorry could not resist!
