I love karaoke and a good laugh…I got two in one today.  If I ever sound like this guy when I’m singing, please someone, put me out!!!

I just finished reading my 6th book by Nicholas Sparks, “The Choice.” The Choice, is a book that really focuses on life being too short to not seize the day.  It really makes you believe you must never give up on what you want and need, even if it seems impossible.  Making choices is a huge part of our everyday life, some big and some small.  No matter the importance of the choice, we should always stay true, and following our hearts should never be overlooked.

Sparks is an absolute great writer and always has a twist in his endings.  Whether it be a happy ending or a more realistic one, I’m always glued to his books while reading. Spark’s creative mind always keeps me reading his novels.  I have read, Walk to Remember, The Notebook, The Wedding, Bend in the Road, The Guardian and The Choice. The next book in cue is The Rescue.

I really enjoyed Hot Tub Time Machine, it was very funny.  It wasn’t as great as The Hangover but it was up there.  Even though big name, John Cusack, was in the film, there wasn’t a main role.  All of the actors had supporting roles, in which I enjoyed each of their stories.  How can you go wrong going back in time to the 80s?!  There is just so much to make fun of in that decade. I would recommend this movie to anyone with a great dirty sense of humor.

I went to see “Date Night” last night and absolutely loved it.   Steve Carell and Tina Fey are an awesome duo and compliment each other perfectly.

This is definitely a rated R movie when it comes to content.  There are some sexual language and a lot of explicit referrals.  You will for sure need to have a sense of humor to watch this movie.

I just recently heard about the movie La Mission from a friend and I’m really interested in seeing it.  At the center of the story is Che, an old school reformed bad boy and single father who has dedicated his life to raising his 18 year-old son. Jess is a UCLA-bound honors student who is hiding a deeply-held secret from his macho father: he’s gay. The movie stars Benjamin Bratt, not to mention he is also one of the filmmakers.
